More than 30 years ago, Tony Ristaino entered the financial services field with a tenacious, hard-working spirit and a passion for helping people solve problems.

Tony is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM professional, having completed a two-year course of study and passed six rigorous exams leading to a comprehensive knowledge of personal finance issues. He earned the Chartered Financial Consultant®, an extensive designation in financial planning, from the American College after having completed ten courses in financial, retirement and tax planning, as well as graduate courses in advanced estate planning and financial counseling. Tony also is a Chartered Life Underwriter® with an in-depth knowledge of the insurance needs of individuals, business owners and professionals. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland, College Park. 

Tony is known as a financial educator in the Baltimore-Washington area. He has conducted over 20 retirement planning workshops every year since 2000 and has advised retirees and pre-retirees from Proctor & Gamble, Hewlett/Packard and Verizon on pre-saving and strategies for making their retirement nest eggs grow.

In his spare time, Tony serves as Alumni Advisor for Sigma Chi at the University of Maryland, College Park and is actively involved in the Gonzaga College High School Alumni Association. He coached basketball and lacrosse for the Towson Recreation Council for nine years. He enjoys reading and plays tennis twice a week.

Tony is a native of Annapolis, now residing in Towson. He has two adult children, Michael and Christina.
